In our previous research study we found that people were often confused by the letters they received from the clinic. Remember these are a copy of the letter that is written to your GP, and so often contain medical words and descriptions.
You can download an example letter here that has some explanations of the terms used. Read through the letter and move the mouse over any sections or words you would like to know more about - this will reveal a pop up box containing further explanations and where you can find out more on the website. On some computers you may need to download this document to be able to see the explanations: right click on the link and save to download then view.
This website has been developed by doctors and patients as part of a research study. The site is designed to meet the information needs of people who have bronchiectasis and their families and carers and help them manage the condition.
Currently this website is being trialled as part of the ongoing study and is only available to those within the study. For details about the research study please go to http://public.ukcrn.org.uk.
